Simply Music Advocate Team
THE SIMPLY MUSIC ADVOCATE TEAM is a growing community of teachers who volunteer a little time to help support, strengthen, and evolve the organization from within.
Some Advocates enjoy helping teachers feel connected and supported. Others love organizing information, reviewing materials, spotting inconsistencies, helping with social media visibility, or assisting behind the scenes with systems and data cleanup.
Whether you have an hour occasionally or more time to contribute regularly, every contribution helps move Simply Music forward.
What does an advocate do?
Communicators & Connectors –Support connection across the community – helping other teachers feel supported
Editors & Eagle-Eyes –Review materials for clarity, accuracy, or for your feedback
Librarians & Curators – Organize, maintain, or share feedback about resources, keeping content relevant and usable
Social Media & Visibility – Help expand Simply Music’s reach by posting provided content or exploring additional options for visibility
Data & Systems Cleanup – Support behind-the-scenes organization and consolidation of data
Flexible & Volunteer-Based
Advocate opportunities are entirely volunteer-based and designed to be flexible. You’re welcome to contribute in ways that align with your interests, strengths, availability, and comfort level.
Some tasks may take only a hours minutes, while others may involve ongoing collaboration. There’s no pressure to participate beyond what feels manageable for you.
How to Join
Step 1
Review current Advocate Opportunities list and identify up to 3 opportunities that interest you most.
Step 2
Complete the Join the Advocate Team form and let us know where you’d most like to contribute.
Our team will follow up with additional information, assignments, or next steps as opportunities become available.
