Your full name: Laurie Richards
When did you start and what is your role with Simply Music? I started with Simply Music in 2003. My current role is Director of Teacher Support. I am also writing or collaborating on several Supplemental Programs.

If you were in a rock ‘n’ roll band, what would your job be? Keyboards and comic relief in rehearsal
What song/music style reminds you of your childhood? Classical and jazz
What song do you sing in the shower? 24K Magic, often
What is the worst song to get stuck in your head? It’s a Small World or Rhinestone Cowboy
What song/style do you love to dance to? Big Band Jazz, Swing
What was the first concert you went to see? Elton John
What movie can you quote word for word? Phantom of the Opera and Napoleon Dynamite
What is your favorite day of the week? Friday
What’s your strangest talent? It’s not really a talent, but I can identify any note or chord just by listening (only because I was born with absolute pitch)

What is the single best decision you have made in your life so far? Deciding to be authentic at all times
What is the best dish you can cook? My homemade crescent rolls are legendary in my family.
