Circle of Life from The Lion King has always been popular for students to learn and its rich chords make it a particularly rewarding project using the powerful accompaniment skills Simply Music students learn very early in the curriculum. Across three projects, Laurie Richards starts us off with chords we learn in the Accompaniment 1 program, then develops rhythmic sophistication using the tools from the Accompaniment Variations program, then develops the left hand using tools from the Reading 1 program. Depending on your experience you can tackle one, two or three projects, but you’ll be sure to find your place on the path unwinding.
