| About | Samali has been teaching the Simply Music method since 2001, and was one of the first to teach Simply Music in Australia. Holding an “Advanced” teacher status, Samali has contributed to the Simply Music Teacher Training Workshop Series. Samali has a personal and professional interest in educational excellence which has influenced both the homeschooling of her children and her teaching of Simply Music. With a Western Classical training in both piano and clarinet, Samali has worked as an instrumental teacher at both St. Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls and John XXIII College in Perth, Western Australia. Samali has supported past students to follow an array of musical paths with some in professional music careers as singers, instrumentalists and piano teachers. However, the majority of Samali’s students have chosen to create a life long friendship with music through playing piano, maintaining it as an interest that gives them an experience of joy and personal well-being. In 2014 Samali began teaching online lessons to students as well as coaching teachers remotely. Currently, Samali exclusively teaches lessons online, allowing students to learn in the safety and privacy of their own homes. “Samali is an amazing piano teacher.
