Michaela KTrainee Pacific Grove, CA, United States
Michaela Kuenster is an illustrator and songwriter from Los Angeles, now at home on the Monterey Peninsula. Her father was Glen Campbell’s musical director for 35 years, and her uncle has played in Neil Diamond’s band for 30—she grew up backstage, as well as playing in various bands of her own since she was in high school.
She spent her 20s between the rhinestoned shows of Branson, Missouri and the two-steppin’ honky tonks of Texas. After returning to Hollywood and a decade spent working in television, she realized her passion has always been music, so she moved to P.G. and decided to embrace it, full time.
She is thrilled at the opportunity to teach piano at the Pacific Grove Art Center, and to instill a life-long love of music in her students.
