| About | Melanie is a very accomplished pianist and certified school teacher with 10 years experience teaching in both charter & public schools where she was nominated for awards with her teaching. Melanie has held many competitive musical positions and been in many elite musical groups. With 30 years of piano experience, she’s performed a piano solo on Temple Square, played background piano music at Nordstrom’s in the mall, and performed a humorous ‘Victor Borge style’ comedy piano duet at Weber State University –just to name a few. She also has extensive experience accompanying for many choirs, including the LDS Institute choirs for major events such as a CES fireside broadcast throughout the world on satellite for her church. She’s also currently a member of the Bells on Temple Square who often play with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for events, including some Sunday broadcasts of the internationally renowned Music & the Spoken Word.
