| About | I have been taking Simply Music lessons since I was 6. I have always loved working with kids and had a knack for teaching. So at the age of 12, my dad (who is an Advanced Simply Music instructor) asked me to help him teach large group lessons at a private school. I was able to get years of exposure alongside my dad on how to teach songs, navigate different learning styles, and how to handle with the issues that would come up. I also was able to work with lots of kids with special needs. I loved teaching with my dad so much that at 17 I decided to open a studio of my own. I have had the benefit of working close by my dad, who has guided me through the Simply Music teaching process. I love music and have taken up guitar and teach electric bass lessons. I am a strong believer that everyone can (and should) try learning an instrument at some point in their life. I have played both piano and bass on church worship teams, for weddings, and in numerous band settings. I hope to give other people the enjoyment I have gotten out of music. |
